The name came from a constellation
Before Orion had a treatment room, it had a name. Yngrid's young son suggested it while they were searching together, and she loved it at once: Orion is a constellation — a symbol of light, direction, and beauty that still shines in the dark. That image became the whole idea of the spa: a steady point of light you can navigate by, and a quiet place where you are cared for.

Every step below is part of the real path behind this spa — a story of starting over, learning, and building something honest.
2011
A beginning in the Dominican Republic
Yngrid Rodríguez began her path in aesthetics in the Dominican Republic, where her interest in skin, care, and calm first took shape.
Miami
A restart, from the ground up
She later moved to Miami, where she had to restart her studies. Starting over meant beginning again with the same intention — to do this work properly.
Georgia
Roots and a license
After a year she moved to Georgia and completed the practice hours required to obtain her esthetician license.
At home
Facials, and a name
While studying and working, she began giving facials at home. It was then that her ten-year-old son said: “Mommy, let's make you some social media pages.” Together they searched for names — and Orion stayed.
2022
Orion is founded
Orion Aesthetics & Spa was officially established, offering relaxing massages and body scrubs — services permitted by her esthetician license.
Today
A constellation still growing
The spa has grown while keeping the same spirit: an intimate, honest space centered on each person who walks through the door.

She welcomes you in English or Spanish, and treats the consultation as the most important part of the appointment.
